The past two days here have been glorious. It gets fairly cold at night, so clear days, when the sun shines are great. On days that we haven't been working we've gotten to know the local library and a few restaurants. We got some great wool clothing from the thrift stores and stopped in for a wine tastings at local vineyards. There are tons of wineries around so we're working our way through them at a gradual pace.
Ashley and I took advantage of the sunny days to do some stripping and trimming in the vineyard. Stripping is just clearing away branches that have been cut off. Trimming is a little more complicated, and so this week's pictures are an explanation of the pruning process.
